Your safari begins with an early departure from Nairobi, the vibrant capital of Kenya, as you head towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Situated in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru is renowned for its stunning landscapes and prolific birdlife, including thousands of flamingos that create a pink-hued spectacle along the shores of the alkaline lake. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, and more.

Upon arrival, you embark on an exhilarating game drive through the park, led by your experienced guide who will help you spot and identify the diverse flora and fauna. After a day of wildlife viewing, you will check into your comfortable mid-range accommodation near Lake Nakuru for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Lake Nakuru and set off on a scenic drive southwest towards the world-famous Masai Mara National

Reserve. The Mara is known for its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife, making it a must-visit destination for safari enthusiasts. Upon arrival at your mid-range lodge or camp in the Mara, you will enjoy a delicious lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. The Mara is home to the Big Five, as well as numerous other species such as zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and predators like lions and cheetahs. Your guide will lead you through the reserve, ensuring you have the best chances of encountering these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. After an exciting day of wildlife sightings, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Today is dedicated to exploring the wonders of the Masai Mara in more depth. You will start the day with an early morning game drive, setting out before sunrise to catch the Mara's wildlife at its most active. As the sun rises over the savannah, you will have the opportunity to witness predators on the hunt and herbivores beginning their daily activities. Your guide will share their knowledge of the local ecosystem, pointing out animal tracks and interpreting animal behavior. After a few hours of game driving, you will return to your lodge or camp for a hearty breakfast. In the afternoon, you will head out for another game drive, perhaps focusing on specific areas of the reserve or seeking out different wildlife species.
