Your adventure begins with an early morning collection from your Arusha hotel. We journey south to the magnificent Tarangire National Park, arriving at a scenic picnic site by noon for lunch. Your afternoon game drive unveils the wonders of Tarangire, famously known as the ‘Elephant Playground,’ where herds of up to 300 of these majestic animals are often seen.

While the Serengeti is widely known, Tarangire during the dry season rivals its animal densities. Beyond elephants, the park is home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, with gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx as local specialties. The marshy shores of Lake Burungi attract a wealth of mammals and beautiful birdlife, including giant kingfishers, hoopoes, and the white-bellied go-away bird. The landscape is adorned with splendid baobab trees, rolling savannah, and acacia woodland. After an inspiring afternoon, we retire to our campsite for a delicious dinner and a night under the stars.

Today may be your departure day, but it begins with one of Africa's finest spectacles: the Ngorongoro Crater. Your early morning game drive reveals why this is considered a natural wonder of the world.

First, you'll behold the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, a breathtaking landscape of grassland, forest, and swamp. Second, the permanent water on the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals. Here you’ll find the iconic wildlife you came to see: elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, wallowing hippo, and baboons… with the rare black rhino being one of the crater's most celebrated residents.

Sharing this incredible ecosystem are the Maasai people, grazing their cattle in a unique co-existence that your driver-guide will be pleased to explain. After an unforgettable game drive and a picnic lunch within the crater, we begin the journey back, allowing you time to reflect on your safari adventures during the transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

This Tour ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport at 17:30hrs, you can only depart on this day if you have booked a Domestic flight which departs from Kilimanjaro International Airport at 19:40hrs and onwards or an International Flight which departs at 21:00hrs and onwards. Otherwise, you will need to book a post night Accommodation if you are departing with any earlier flight.
